Kate Hudson's agent Michael Kives set the record straight on rumors saying that he's dating the 36-year-old actress. The agent told TMZ at LAX airport on Tuesday, October 20 that they're just friends.

"We are very close friends," Michael said when he was asked about the circulating pictures showing him cozying up to the "Bride Wars" actress. When he was asked whether or not they're dating, the agent simply said, "No."

On the same day, Kate also squashed dating rumors with her agent when she made an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live". Host Andy Cohen asked her whether or not it was annoying if she's photographed with a friend and it turned into dating rumors. "My agent has been my mystery man maybe twenty five times," she said. "You can't hug someone, talk someone without it being a thing."

During the show, Kate was asked by a caller if the rumors saying that she's dating Nick Jonas were true. The actress refused to give answer to that question as saying, "I don't like addressing any kind of gossip."

In late September, Nick also took the same step when he was asked about his relationship with Kate. "I'm also not gonna talk about it," he said during a radio interview with 94.7 Fresh FM backstage at his Maryland concert. The two ignited dating rumors after they were photographed enjoying their time together in Orlando and Miami last month. The two have remained silent on their relationship but a source close to Kate said that it was "just a fling."
