There is seemingly nothing serious between Nick Jonas and Kate Hudson despite having been photographed together several times last month. A source close to Kate told PEOPLE that their relationship was "just a fling."

"It's definitely not anything serious," the source said of Nick and Kate's relationship. "They are both single and seeing other people too. Kate's mostly focusing on her boys and doesn't want a serious relationship right now." Neither Nick nor Kate has commented on the report.

The two ignited dating rumors when they were photographed enjoying their time together in Orlando and Miami in late September. They had a trip to Disney World in Orlando where they were seen riding a roller coaster on Saturday, September 26. On the following day, the two were spotted having brunch at Soho Beach House in Miami. "The buzz around the property is that they were acting like a couple," said an eyewitness.

In an interview with 94.7 Fresh FM backstage at his Maryland concert, Nick remained silent on the romance rumor. "I'm also not gonna talk about it," he said when he was asked about the dating report. Most recently, the "Levels" singer declared that he's single. "I'm 23, single and loving life," Nick told ET Canada. "And in a moment, I'm just trying to have as much fun as possible."
