The 'Kendra on Top' star says she tried to kill herself more than once when she was teenager and was institutionalized.

AceShowbiz - Kendra Wilkinson was suicidal when she was teenager, so she opens up. The reality TV star reveals in a new clip from her show "Kendra on Top" that her tumultuous relationship with her mother was a factor in her depression.
"[As a teen] I was left on my own," the former Playboy model tells her therapist while trying to contain her emotion. "I was a young f***** girl. All I wanted was for my mom to say, 'I love you, and I'm here for you.' I never got that."
"When I was a teenager I battled some severe depression," she says. "I attempted suicide a couple times. I went to a mental institution. I battled some severe depression - drugs, overdosing, slitting the wrists, all of that stuff."
It's not the first time Kendra talked about having suicidal thoughts. When her marriage to Hank Baskett was hit with cheating rumors, she said on her show, "I was at a real low. I even questioned my life. If it wasn't for [my daughter] Alijah, the bond I had with her, I feel like I would have probably ended my life. I felt like I'm not even supposed to be here."
