In an interview with WSJ magazine, the 'Steve Jobs' star explains why she chose a weird place to keep her Oscar and also talks about her failed marriages.

AceShowbiz - While many may prefer to display their Oscars or other trophies in a place that can be seen by a lot of people, Kate Winslet chose a weird place to keep her Oscar. The "Titanic" actress reveals in a new interview with WSJ magazine that she keeps the gong, which she won for her role in "The Reader", in her bathroom.

The 39-year-old English beauty has a good reason for it. "The whole point is for everybody to pick it up and go, 'I'd like to thank my son and my dad'-and you can always tell when someone has, because they're in there a little bit longer after they flushed," she says. "They'll come out looking slightly pink-cheeked. It's hysterical."

Winslet also talks about her failed marriages to Jim Threapleton (1998-2001) and Sam Mendes (2003-11). "No one really knows what has happened in my life," says the actress who will appear in "Steve Jobs". "No one really knows why my first marriage didn't last; no one knows why my second didn't. And I'm proud of those silences."

"I know lots of people who are not in the public eye who have gone through several marriages, I really do, and it's just those are the cards that life dealt me. I didn't plan on it being that way. And f**k me, it hasn't been easy, you know," she admits.

The mother of three is now happily married to Ned Rocknroll. "Thank God for Ned - really," she sings praise for her third husband. "He's just so incredibly supportive, and he's so much fun. He's absolutely everything to me. And to all of us."
