LL Cool J's son, Najee Smith, has just landed behind bars. He was thrown out of the nightclub, Catch Rooftop, above a popular Meatpacking District restaurant on Monday night, September 28, and was arrested after getting into an altercation with the staff.

Smith, 26, was celebrating his birthday with some of his friends when he, apparently intoxicated, caused disturbance inside the New York City establishment. According to New York Daily News, he was asked to leave by an employee but defiantly refused.

The birthday boy reportedly fought off bouncers when he was taken to the ground level. Police was called and he was ultimately taken into custody by the officers. He was then charged with criminal trespassing. No serious injury was reported in the altercation.
