The latest promo video shares new footage which gives a closer look at the baddies the superheroine will be facing off against on the show.

AceShowbiz - A few weeks shy of "Supergirl" premiere, CBS releases a new trailer that gives away tons of never-before-seen scenes from the upcoming series. They mostly show the titular character in action, battling against the villains and at the same time showing her powers.
Justice Leak's Hellgrammite is seen for the first time in the video. While in the comics he is originally entomologist Roderick Rose who is transformed into the insect-like villain due to some experimentation, on the TV series he is described as an alien that Supergirl will be chasing.
There's also a closer look at Peter Facinelli's Maxwell Lord, a morally ambiguous businessman. He is seen flirting with Kara's boss Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) in the promo video.
"Supergirl" centers on Superman's cousin Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist), who also lands on Earth after escaping Krypton. She's been hiding the powers she shares with Superman, but later decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.
It is set to debut Monday, October 26 at 8:30 P.M. on CBS, before airing in its regular slot beginning Monday, November 2 at 8 P.M. Other stars cast on the show include Chyler Leigh as Kara's foster sister Alex Danvers, Mehcad Brooks as Kara's love interest Jimmy Olsen, Jenna Dewan-Tatum as Lucy Lane and many others.
