AceShowbiz - There was one major highlight during the 67th annual Emmy Awards on Sunday, September 20, the Apple music commercial. Starring Taraji P. Henson, Kerry Washington and Mary J. Blige having a full-on dance party at Blige's livingroom, the ads quickly became a viral sensation and many viewers' obsession.

Directed by Ava DuVernay, the commercial was kicked off with a scene showing Blige introducing Henson and Washington to Apple Music's "For You" feature, which recommended songs based on your stated preferences and listening history. "It's like you have a boyfriend that makes you a mix tape in your laptop," Washington commented. And when the music started playing, the threesome then got down to the beat, dancing, rapping lyrics and cheering.

The commercial was one of the three ads starring Henson, Washington, and Blige. The rest two would roll out later in the week. "Yep, first of three. @AppleMusic rolls them out throughout the week. Loved playing w/ Queens Kerry, Taraji + Mary xo," DuVernay tweeted after the first clip was debuted.
