A Los Angeles Police Department helicopter was called after a growing altercation involving the 30-year-old basketball athlete happened outside a Dave and Buster's bar in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Nick Young went into meltdown outside a Dave & Buster's bar in Los Angeles on Saturday night, September 12. The incident happened after some guys who came along with him got into altercation inside the bar, TMZ reported.
In a video obtained by the website, it could be seen that Nick who wore a long-sleeved red shirt and a red cap yelled at one of his pals. "Everywhere we go, bruh," he told the pal while getting up from a bench where he was sitting. "Everywhere we go."
The video also showed the 30-year-old basketball athlete tossing a bottle into the man's direction. Nick could be heard telling an interfering guy to shut up. It's unclear what triggered the fight but it went severe.
A spokesperson for the LAPD told Us Weekly that they were unaware that Nick was involved in the altercation. However, the spokesperson confirmed to the website that the officers "responded to a disturbance."
As the angry group was large, Los Angeles Police Department who came to the scene asked for a backup including an LAPD helicopter. The spokesperson said, "Additional officers were requested and helicopters showed up as well." The police asked the group to leave and everyone was cooperative. "Nobody was arrested, nobody was detained," the spokesperson added.
