Justin Bieber visited the "Today" show on Thursday, September 10 as the last guest on its Toyota Summer concert series this year. After performing for a huge number of fans packing the Rockefeller Center in New York City, the Canadian heartthrob excited a much smaller crowd when he played a private concert for them at the show's backstage.

Those showing up at the private show were people who'd lost their loved ones in the 9/11 attacks 14 years ago as well as kids from the Make-A-Wish foundation. During the occasion, they gathered around Bieber as he played acoustic version of his songs like "What Do You Mean" and "All That Matters" with guitarist Dan Kanter backing him.

Earlier on Thursday, Bieber played some of his biggest hits including older songs like "Boyfriend" and "Baby" while taking the main stage of "Today" show. He made thousands of Beliebers in the crowd scream despite the pouring rain.

At one point during his mini-concert, the 21-year-old superstar was caught complaining about the cameras not capturing his dance routine. "Next time I won't dance because the camera's here the whole time. I might as well not dance," he ranted in front of one of the cameras, apparently without realizing his mic was still on.
