Justin Bieber has a lot to celebrate these days. After breaking the Spotify record with "What Do You Mean", he's just scored his first No. 1 single on Billboard Hot 100 with the same song. To thank fans for their support, he dropped on Tuesday, September 8 a video of him performing a stripped-down version of his latest hit.
"Thanks for breaking the spotify record and making us #1. As promised #WhatDoYouMean acoustic," he wrote on Twitter alongside a link to the black-and-white YouTube video showing him turning the upbeat and summery pop tune into an acoustic guitar-driven ballad.
In between scenes of him singing next to a guitarist, viewers get to see footage of the 21-year-old heartthrob showing off his skateboarding skills and making promotional appearances on various shows including "On Air With Ryan Seacrest" and "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon".

"What Do You Mean" serves as the first offering from Bieber's next studio album, which is scheduled to arrive on November 13. A few days following its release on August 28, the track set a new Spotify record for most streams in a first week with 21 million plays.
Earlier on September 8, Billboard announced that the song became only the 23rd song in the Hot 100's 57-year history to make its debut at No. 1 on the chart. Replacing The Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face" that has topped the list for two non-consecutive weeks, Bieber's latest hit launched with 337,000 downloads.
