Justin Bieber is not taking responsibility for injuries a fan sustained while attending one of his concerts in 2013. According to TMZ, the singer is asking a judge to throw out the lawsuit filed by the female fan named Sandy Ricketts who was allegedly hurt so bad after tripping on a loose cable at the show in Philadelphia.

Ricketts, a New Jersey resident, previously claimed the incident left her with severe and permanent injuries that included a broken shoulder, busted lip that required surgery and a sprained wrist.

Bieber's legal team has now filed documents saying that there were no electrical cables anywhere near where Ricketts was standing during the concert. They blamed her fall on her own clumsiness. In his documents, the "Baby" hitmaker's people additionally mentioned that the concert tickets already stated that fans assumed the risk of injuries when they attended his show.

When he's not dealing with Rickett's lawsuit, Bieber has been busy putting the finishing touches on his new album. Set to hit the stores on November 13, the project has been preceded by "What Do You Mean".

Recently, he also helped Travi$ Scott celebrate the release of his debut album "Rodeo" by showing up at a release party held at New York City's Up and Down club last Thursday, September 3. The 21-year-old heartthrob joined Scott on the stage to perform "Maria I'm Drunk", which is his collaboration with the rapper off the LP.

The Canadian native also played Jack U's summer hit "Where Are U Now" that features his guest vocals during the occasion.
