Iggy Azalea didn't get much love from viewers who watched her duet with Demi Lovato at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. Many even blamed her for ruining Demi's performance of "Cool for the Summer".
The Aussie raptress received some backlashes on Twitter. One viewer wrote, "Leave it to iggy azalea to ruin a good performance #VMAs." Another said, "iggy just ruined the entire song/vmas.my life."
Another commented, "Oh god, and she brought out Iggy? I'm pretty sure Demi killed her career by association. #VMAs." One other Twitter user concluded, "to sum it all up, people liked demis performance but hated iggy k."
Iggy has quickly responded after noticing those negative comments. She took to her own Twitter to hit back at the haters, "Its [sic] funny to see i was trending on WW, man. haters got SO MUCH to say. I was only on stage 30 seconds!"
Demi brought her best friend Iggy to perform her new single "Cool for the Summer" outside the Orpheum Theatre near the actual venue, the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. The "Black Widow" hitmaker served as a guest performer for a remix version of the song.
