The 'Signs' actor is in talks to reunite with the director for an untitled feature film which will be produced by Jason Blum and will start filming in November.

AceShowbiz - Joaquin Phoenix is in negotiations to reteam with M. Night Shyamalan for a new feature project which has no title yet. Deadline reports that the untitled M. Night Shyamalan project will be produced by Jason Blum.

The site mentions that the new Shyamalan project will start filming in November in the director's hometown in Philadelphia. Blum will produce alongside Marc Bienstock with Ashwin Rajan and Steven Schneider on board as executive producers.

The movie will mark the reunion between Shyamalan and Blum, who recently worked together in Universal movie "The Visit". Just like most of Shyamalan projects, the plot details of the upcoming project are still kept under wraps. Sources say that it will likely include elements of the supernatural and the film's budget seems to be relatively small. It is very likely to be budgeted more in the range of "The Visit", at approximately $5 million, than some of Shyamalan's other bigger movies.

Phoenix was one of the leads of Shyamalan's 2002 film "Signs", and the follow-up movie "The Village". "Signs" was a success on box office, bringing in $408 million worldwide, while the follow-up failed to repeat the success of its predecessor.

Phoenix was most recently seen in Woody Allen's pic "Irrational Man". He also starred in "Inherent Vice" alongside Katherine Waterston and Josh Brolin as well as in 2013's "Her".
