The singer revealed through his latest Instagram post that the giant lion he tattooed on his chest was fake.

Ed Sheeran took to Instagram on Wednesday, August 26 to reveal his bare chest, thus publicly confirming that the giant lion tattoo he previously debuted was fake. "Was only joking about the lion," he captioned the pic.
Earlier this month, Ed shared an Instagram photo of his chest with full color tattoo of a lion's head inked on it. The British singer had the intricate design etched to his body with the help of celebrity tattoo artist Kevin Paul . "Lion is courtesy of kp_est78, who puts up with me complaining about the pain," he tweeted thanking Kevin for his art work.
Ed said at that time that the body ink was meant to honor his selling out Wembley Stadium gigs three nights in a row. The original idea was to have the stadium's floor plan inked on his chest but at the last minute changed to the Mufasa-style tattoo, which was the logo of the English National Team.
