AMC hypes up the return of "The Walking Dead" by releasing a new trailer for the upcoming sixth season. Not sharing any new footage, the video shows the familiar faces, from Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) to Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), emerging from shadows. It is set to the tune of "We Carry On" by The Phantoms featuring Amy Stroup.
A new clip has also been shared, giving away a scene from season 6. It follows Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) heading somewhere in a car. Abraham starts a conversation by asking about her emotional state, but she doesn't feel comfortable talking about it. She even appears to be annoyed by the question.
"The Walking Dead" season 6 will kick off Sunday, October 11 at 9 P.M. on AMC with a supersized, 90-minute episode. Besides the returning cast, the show will feature Corey Hawkins as Heath, Ethan Embry as Carter, and Merritt Wever as Dr. Denise Cloyd.
Showrunner Scott M. Gimple hinted that comic book characters Negan and Jesus could also be introduced in this coming season.
