Celine Dion always gets emotional when talking about her husband Rene Angelil. In an interview with USA Today, the "My Heart Will Go On" singer who will return to her Las Vegas stage while her husband is battling throat cancer opened up about his heartbreaking wish.

Rene "needs something more sensitive than that, more than just positivity. Sometimes he just wants me to enter into a different place with him," Celine said of her husband. "I'll say, 'You're scared? I understand. Talk to me about it.' " She continued, "And Rene says to me, 'I want to die in your arms.' O.K., fine, I'll be there, you'll die in my arms."

The "Because You Loved Me" singer tries to make sure that she can do her best for her ailing husband. "Don't forget, he's been the leader of the band all my life," she said of her husband who is also her manager throughout her career. "So it (hacks) him off to not see me all day and over here working. But he wants me to do this, do the show, do the interviews. But he freaks when I'm not home with him, too."

Of resuming her Las Vegas performance, the 47-year-old singer said, "I didn't want to be here at first, I don't need it. Don't get me wrong, I love singing for people, but I have priorities." She then continued, "But my biggest job is to tell my husband, we're fine. I'll take care of our kids. You'll watch us from another spot."
