AceShowbiz - Morgan Freeman remembers his step-granddaughter E'Dena Hines, who was stabbed to death on Sunday, August 16, in the best way he can. The actor pays tribute to the 33-year-old actress by reflecting on her talent and how she touched the lives of the people around her.
"The world will never know her artistry and talent, and how much she had to offer," Freeman said in a statement. "Her friends and family were fortunate enough to have known what she meant as a person." The actor went on adding, "Her star will continue to shine bright in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. May she rest in peace."
Hines is the granddaughter of Freeman's first wife, Jeanette Adair Bradshaw. She has a close bond with Freeman and was spotted at the 2005 Golden Globe Awards with him. In 2012, they were forced to debunk rumors of them getting married.
At the time of writing, investigation is still on going to find out reason behind Hines' stabbing. There hasn't been statement from family regarding funeral plans.
