Former member Emma Bunton has denied rumor about the tour to celebrate the group's 20th anniversary, saying 'nothing's happening at the moment.'

AceShowbiz - A Spice Girls reunion was reportedly in the works despite former member Victoria Beckham a.k.a. Victoria Adams a.k.a. Posh Spice's reluctance. The Sun said that other members including Melanie Brown, Melanie C, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell would team up again for a 2016 world tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut single "Wannabe".

The report, however, turned out to be bogus. Bunton herself denied the news in an interview with Heart London radio, saying, "If anything happens and it's concrete, and we decide on something, I will let you know, but nothing's happening at the moment."

According to The Sun, Spice Girls' members, except Beckham, had a secret meeting in London last month to discuss the reunion tour. "There is a huge demand for the Spice Girls to get back together, especially with the nostalgia around the two-decade anniversary of their first release next summer," a so-called source told the British publication.

"Mel B flew into London last month to secretly agree the plan with the other three girls. They should each make more than ten million pounds from this," the source continued and explained that Beckham wouldn't be joining the tour because she's too busy with her fashion career and family.

Beckham has indeed stated multiple times that she has no plan to perform with her former bandmates again following their last appearance together at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games in London. However, she took to Twitter on Thursday, August 6 to seemingly show that she still cared about her pals.

She posted a photo of an official Spice Girls photo album and said in the caption, "#TBT love my Spice Girls x."
