Darren Criss is preparing to pack his bag and book a stay on "American Horror Story: Hotel". The Blaine Anderson of "Glee" is reportedly in talks to take a recurring role in the upcoming installment of Ryan Murphy's anthology series.

According to E! News, the "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" star will portray "Justin, a Silver Lake hipster who heads to the hotel on Halloween with his equally hip girlfriend to escape pesky trick-or-treaters. But after one too many room service demands, Kathy Bates' character, the head of the hotel, gives Criss' character a Halloween trick they will never forget."

Besides Bates, other stars already confirmed for "Hotel" include Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Matthew Bomer, Lady GaGa, Wes Bentley, Chloe Sevigny, Finn Wittrock, Max Greenfield, Denis O'Hare, Lily Rabe and Naomi Campbell.

At the San Diego Comic-Con in July, some of the characters' names were revealed. Bates is Iris, Bassett is Ramona, Paulson is Hypodermic Sally, Peters is Mr. March and Bomer is Donovan. Co-creator Murphy said they're all "bad boys and girls."

He recently also teased that the next installment, scheduled to premiere in October on FX, would be "a little bloodier and grislier I think than anything that we've done before. It's straight horror this year."
