Felicity Jones Reportedly Plays Boba Fett's Daughter in 'Star Wars Rogue One'
Movie

The 'Theory of Everything' star is rumored to star as the daughter of the bounty hunter in the first installment of 'Star Wars' anthology movie series.

AceShowbiz - Several casting rumors of "Star Wars" first anthology movie, "Rogue One", have been rumbling. Previously, Jonathan Aris was reported to play Senator Jebel in the upcoming movie. This time, Felicity Jones is rumored to star as Boba Fett's daughter.

In the latest Meet the Movie Press episode, El Mayimbe, the journalist for Heroic Hollywood, hinted that Jones would star as the bounty hunter member's daughter, but he didn't reveal how the character would fit in the plot of the movie.

Fans have already known that "Rogue One" will feature the story of rebels trying to steal the plans to the Death Star. It was always assumed that Jones would play the leader of that group. There is a speculation that Jones' character will be a Rebel soldier, and if that's true, it is very likely to see the father and daughter on the opposite sides of the conflict between the Rebel Alliance and the Empire.

However, there is a factor that makes the rumor seem inaccurate. Considering that the film will take place between "Episode III" and "Episode IV", there is a doubt that Fett already has a child in his age at the time. Fett was in his early teens in "Episode III".

Also in the cast joining Jones are Ben Mendelsohn, Sam Claflin, Riz MC, Diego Luna and Forest Whitaker. Directed by Gareth Edwards, the sci-fi movie is slated for a release on December 16, 2016 in the United States.
