Just a day after she had a misunderstanding with Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift sent a sweet birthday message to her best pal Selena Gomez on Wednesday, July 22. The "Bad Blood" hitmaker took to Twitter to send the special message along with four nostalgic pictures of the two together.

"Happy 23rd Birthday, @selenagomez," Swift wrote, before adding how long they had known each other. "I can't believe it's been 7 years since we met!! I love you so much, always." One of the pictures which came along with the tweet showed Swift and Gomez eating burger while wearing costumes for "Bad Blood" music video. Another picture showed the two laughing together at Swift's birthday party. Other pictures showed them getting close to each other.

This is the second year Swift posted her birthday message to the face of Pantene hair care products. Last year, the 25-year-old singer posted a picture of herself holding a gold "S" necklace. She wrote, "Usually this S represents 'Swift' but today I'm wearing it because SELENA IS 22!!!!"

Their friendship has been well-documented on social media as they often posted pictures of themselves together and supported each other via Twitter. Last month, the "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" singer took to Twitter to support her BFF's new single "Good for You." She wrote, "Guys, on 6/22 @selenagomez is releasing my favorite thing she's ever done. Let's all get READY."
