AceShowbiz - A reimagining of animated classic movie "Sword in the Stone" is in the works at Disney. Multiple sites have confirmed that the Mouse House is developing a live-action remake of the 1963 musical fantasy comedy film that was based on T. H. White's 1938 novel of the same name.
"Stone" tells the story of a 12-year-old orphan named Arthur who became king after removing a sword from an anvil in London. "Game of Thrones" writer Bryan Cogman has been booked to pen the script for the live-action remake. He has teased his involvement in the project by sharing on Twitter a picture of him trying to pull the "Sword in the Stone" at Disneyland. He simply captioned the pic with "research."
