Caitlyn has never refused 'DWTS' deal as she has never been in any negotiations about starring on the show and there was 'no conversation' with the producers about it, says her spokesperson.

AceShowbiz - Caitlyn Jenner didn't "back out" of "Dancing with the Stars" gig despite a report by Radar Online. The webloid claimed that the former Olympic athlete "came very close" to signing the deal with the ABC program, but she backed out at the last minute.

A so-called source told the webloid, "At first, Caitlyn was so excited about it and nearly signed up straight away, but after careful thought and even trying out a few moves, she's realized she was in over her head."

The source cited Caitlyn's strength and abilities which were no longer prime as the reason why she refused the deal. "She also found she's nowhere near as powerful in her movements as she used to be and she's totally lost her confidence in her body's strength and abilities," the source explained. However, the source claimed that the main issue was the "I Am Cait" star's competitive ego. "The biggest reason she pulled the plug on the deal is because she doesn't want to be a laughingstock."

Despite the report, the Arthur Ashe Courage Award recipient, in fact, never refused the deal as she was never in any "DWTS" negotiations. Caitlyn's spokesperson told Gossip Cop, "There was no deal from which to bail," and there was also "no conversation" with producers of the "DWTS" about her appearing on the show.
