The change of dynamic in Ray and Frank's relationship in the latest episode of "True Detective" may lead to another death. A preview for next week's outing features Ray and Frank ready with their guns as they have an intense encounter, after the dirty cop realized that Frank had set him up in a difficult position.
Meanwhile, Ani goes undercover to attend a party in an attempt to get more information that could help solve the Caspere case, with Paul backing her up. There's also a glimpse of a bloody chair and a man forcefully entering a room.
"Church in Ruins" airs Sunday, July 26 at 9/8c on HBO. An official synopsis of the episode has not been released yet but things are going to get intense as there are only three episodes left in the second season of the anthology crime series.
