Lena Headey Gives Birth to a Daughter

The 'Game of Thrones' star has welcomed her second child into the world.

AceShowbiz - Lena Headey is a mother of two. The "Game of Thrones" star announced on Twitter on Friday, July 10 that she gave birth to her second child, a baby girl. She wrote, "Hello peeps. All good. Just fallen in unconditional heartbreaking divine love for the second time."

Other details of Lena's new bundle of joy remain unknown since the "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" actress didn't mention any. The newborn baby joins 5-year-old brother Wylie, Lena's son from her marriage to ex-husband Peter Loughran.

Lena confirmed she's expecting her second baby back in February, asking media to respect her privacy so that she could enjoy her pregnancy. In May, the "300" actress announced her baby's gender on a guest blog titled "Daughter" on Planusa.org.

"I am having a baby girl in six weeks. You have all been so lovely in your messages to me, and I thank you for that," she wrote, "My daughter will have freedom of choice. She will be free to dance, to sing, to be educated in the fields that spark her passion, to marry if she wants, to marry WHO she wants, to remain single, or to fall in love with another woman."
