"Sherlock" fans have been dying to get new episodes of the popular series. While a fourth season of the show isn't coming anytime soon, a new photo has been released to tease fans of the upcoming Christmas special.

The photo features the titular detective (Benedict Cumberbatch) and his trusted partner John Watson (Martin Freeman) rocking vintage outfits, confirming previous speculation that the special would be set in Victorian era. They were also spotted filming the special in period costumes in January this year.

Sherlock looks pensive, while John is seen sporting a thick mustache in the photo. "Shut up everybody, shut up! Don't move, don't speak, don't breathe. A new #Sherlock Special image has landed...," so reads a caption of the image released via BBC One's official Twitter account.

No official synopsis is released yet for the Christmas special, which is expected to air around the holidays. The three-episode fourth season will follow later.
