AceShowbiz - Lil Wayne is hosting his own festival, which will be held in his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana next month. The rapper announced via his manager Cortez Bryant on Tuesday, July 7 that the upcoming event dubbed Lil Weezyana Fest would take place on August 28 at Bold Sphere Music at Champions Square.

Other details related to the festival, which Cortez has promised will be "the greatest concert ever," are mostly still kept under wraps. However, Tunechi will reportedly reunite the Hot Boys for the occasion. The hip-hop collective, whose members include Juvenile, Turk and currently-incarcerated B.G., has been on hiatus.

Tickets go on sale to general public on Saturday, July 11, while the pre-sale begins on Wednesday. The line-up of performers will be unveiled soon.

The festival announcement came just days after Wayne finally dropped his "Free Weezy Album". After several push-backs, the project was made available on Tidal last weekend. Meanwhile, the Young Money leader's long-awaited "Tha Carter V" has yet to have a new release date.
