AceShowbiz - Lionsgate has released a series of character posters for the upcoming finale to "The Hunger Games" movie series. There are eight dramatic posters which feature the main characters with Mockingjay symbol on their faces.

Each character is labeled with a particular word. The first poster of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2" shows Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen and is labeled as "Panem," the second image features Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark and is labeled as "Sons," and the third image captures Liam Hemsworth as Gale Howthrone and is labeled as "Brothers."

The rest of the posters feature Willow Shields as Primrose Everdeen, Sam Claflin as Finnick Odair, Jena Malone as Johanna Mason, Natalie Dormer as Cressida and Mahershalalhashbaz Ali as Boggs.

With the Mockingjay symbol splashed on their faces in bright red, the eight "Faces of the Revolution" seem to be ready to confront President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the final battle. With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss teams up with her closest friends, going off on a mission to liberate the citizens of Panem from the evil ruler.

When it is compared to other movies in the series, "Mockingjay, Part 2" is said to become the most emotional movie. "It's probably the most emotional of the bunch," director Francis Lawrence said of the movie. "And I think it's the most satisfying of the bunch," he added. Produced by Nina Jacobson, this final film is due to arrive in U.S. theaters on December 20.
