Vanessa Williams Marries Jim Skrip on Her Third Wedding

The 'Save the Best for Last' hitmaker tied the knot with her fiance on Saturday, July 4.

AceShowbiz - Vanessa Williams is a married woman. The former Miss America got married to her fiance Jim Skrip in front of their family and friends in New York on Saturday, July 4. Two days prior to her wedding, the "Ugly Betty" alum posted on Twitter, "Road trip for the holiday weekend Happy 4th."

Vanessa announced her engagement to Jim back in September 2014 during an appearance on "The Queen Latifah Show". At that time, she showed off her engagement band while saying, "I got engaged. I have had a lot of good things happen. I turned 50 when we were in rehearsal [for 'Trip to Bountiful'] on Broadway, I just got engaged a couple of weeks ago. It has been a lot of blessings on this trip."

She recently opened up to Madame Noire about meeting Jim in Egypt back in 2013. "You never know what you'll find and where you'll find it," she shared. "I was on vacation with my daughter going to Egypt, cruising on the Nile. I wasn't looking for anything. I'd been alone for a number of years and divorced for 10 years at that time."

This is the third marriage for Vanessa. She was previously married to Ramon Hervey from 1987 to 1997. They share three children together, 28-year-old daughter Melanie, 26-year-old daughter Jillian and 22-year-old son Devin. The 52-year-old actress split from Rick Fox in 2005 after six years of marriage. They are parents to 15-year-old daughter Sasha.
