The first trailer for "Jenny's Wedding" has arrived. The two-minute video focuses on Jenny (Katherine Heigl) who tries to convince her parents to support her decision to marry Kitty (Alexis Bledel), whom Jenny's family thought was just her roommate.

The trailer opens with a discussion between Jenny and her sister who tells her not to be too picky with guys. Knowing that Jenny finally finds someone to marry, her family is so happy. However, things don't go as they expected. Jenny comes out of the closet and tells her parents that she is actually a lesbian and she wants to marry Kitty.

Jenny's whole family is shocked to find out the fact about her. "How we could have missed it? All these years," Jenny's sister asks her mom. Jenny's mom becomes very emotional when she has to accept the truth. "Ever since you were a little girl, I thought about your wedding. Now I don't even know if you'll wear a dress. Maybe you'll wear a suit," she tells Jenny.

The movie is expected to attract people's attention since Supreme Court recently ruled same-sex marriage was a constitutional right. Also joining the cast are Linda Emond, Grace Gummer, Tom Wilkinson, Sam McMurray, Diana Hardcastle and Houston Rhines. Mary Agnes Donoghue wrote the script and directed the movie. The gay-marriage drama will hit limited theaters in the U.S. on July 31.
