Chris Martin performed a surprise set at a bar during his trip to India. The Coldplay frontman treated a small crowd at Summer House Cafe in New Delhi to acoustic version of some of his band's hits.

In a video taken and shared online by one lucky fan who happened to be at the bar, Martin took the stage in a black ensemble while carrying his guitar. He kicked off his set with "Viva La Vida" before leading a sing-along to "Fix You" and "Paradise".

Martin was in New Delhi as a Goodwill Ambassador of The Global Poverty Project, a global non-profit organization that aims at eliminating extreme poverty by 2030. During the Wednesday outing, he was accompanied by "Slumdog Millionaire" actress Freida Pinto and music director Vishal Dadlani.

Following Martin's surprise appearance at the bar, Dadlani talked about the gig on Twitter and shared some photos taken during the musician's performance. "I just got off stage from standing around while Chris Martin of Coldplay did an impromptu set. Holy wow!!" he wrote alongside pictures of him and Martin. "We were at a dinner together, and he just went 'let's go play somewhere'! And, boom!" he explained in another tweet.
