"Big Brother" returned on Thursday, July 2, one full week since the competition began. It was time the first live eviction, but not before some campaigns by the nominees. While Jackie remained chill, Jace went to everyone and tried to convince them to keep him.

He confronted James about his decision to nominate him. He was angry that everyone turned against him, although Audrey insisted that she wasn't part of it. Jace tried to start a revolution and talked to Liz, Vanessa and Steve. Steve wanted to help Jace, but he didn't think Jace would get enough support.

Meanwhile, Audrey's decision to tell Jace that he was going to get backdoored backfired as their conversation soon turned into an argument.

Also in this episode, viewers finally found out who the twins who have been switching places. They are Liz and her dental assistant sister Julia.

When it's time to send home one HouseGuest, Jace was evicted 12-1. Audrey was the one who didn't vote to evict Jace, but of course she did it just to cause trouble because she already knew the others would've voted Jace.

Next, Kathy Griffin was introduced as part of this week's Takeover. The comedienne will call the house's phone repeatedly and whoever answers the seventh call will get the Last Laugh power to prevent three people from voting next week.

The remaining HouseGuests were later split into two groups of seven to play separate games of building a puzzle to determine the next HoHs. Da'Vonne, Becky, Meg, Steve, Liz, John and Vanessa were in the first group. Becky came out as the winner and became the HoH. Shelli beat Austin, Jason, Audrey, Jeff, Clay and Jackie in the second group and became the second HoH.
