Rachel McAdams Officially Dating 'True Detective' Co-Star Taylor Kitsch

A month after the pair were spotted enjoying a dinner date at Osteria Mozza in West Hollywood, a source confirmed that they were a couple, saying, 'It hasn't been long, but it's serious.'
"True Detective" co-stars Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch are officially a couple now. A month after they were spotted dinning at West Hollywood's Osteria Mozza on June 2, multiple sources close to the pair have confirmed that they are indeed dating.

"It hasn't been long," an insider told Us Weekly. "But it's serious." Another source said that the two Canadian stars had actually been "friends for years" but their romance started growing when they filmed the TV series. "They grew closer on set," the second source added.

"I don't know if it's full-blown love yet, but they talk constantly," a third source added. "They're really into each other. She talks about him all the time!"

Previously, Rachel admitted she tried not to fall in love on set as work was a bad place to find love. "A set may seem like a good place for romance, but I don't think it's very conducive," she said. "It's too distracting. Every relationship I've had with a co-worker comes after the fact."

Though so, it's not the first time Rachel found love on set. Previously, the 36-year-old actress dated Jake Gyllenhaal while they filmed "Southpaw". She also dated Ryan Gosling after meeting on the set of "The Notebook", and Michael Sheen, her co-star in 2011's "Midnight in Paris".

As for Taylor, his romance with Rachel came after he broke up with his fitness instructor girlfriend Jennifer Welch.
