Mariah Carey and her new beau James Packer continued their glamorous vacation. After having romantic trip in Europe on the billionaire's luxury yacht, the power couple hit Israel along with the singer's twins Monroe and Moroccan.
The couple arrived in the Holly Land on Saturday evening, June 27. On the following day, Mariah and her family stepped out of their Tel Aviv hotel and headed to Jerusalem for a tour around the holy city including an emotional visit to the Western Wall.
Mariah and James later joined a private dinner with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara at the prime minister's mansion in Jerusalem. It turns out that James is a close friend of the country's leading man.
During the trip in Jerusalem, Mariah and the family stayed at the presidential suite of Jerusalem's David Citadel Hotel, the same hotel where Kim Kardashian and Kanye West stayed two months ago.
"They are very happy together. It was important to James that he took Mariah to the Western Wall for the first time. She has been all over the world but never to Israel," an insider told E! News.
"They are incredibly happy and it was a very romantic moment for the two of them," the insider continued. "Her children are also there and you can tell by the way he was looking at her that this relationship is meaningful and that their relationship is going to the next level."
"There is only one place at the Western Wall where men and woman can stand together and it was meaningful for him to take her there so that they could share this very intimate moment as a couple," the insider added.
Another source said, "It was more a spiritual journey then anything. He is aware Carey has the world at her fingertips but he likes to find things that she has never experienced."
