During her speech at the 2015 Cannes Lions Festival, the 34-year-old reality TV star says, 'Maybe I post too many bikini selfies for some people, but my Instagram page is exactly what I want.'

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian spoke at the 2015 Cannes Lions Festival on Wednesday, June 25. During her speech, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star addressed numerous bikini selfies she posted on Instagram and her highly-successful game "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood".

Kim opened up about her Instagram acitvity during her speech at the event. "I have really stayed true to myself on Instagram," she said. "Maybe I post too many bikini selfies for some people, but my Instagram page is exactly what I want."

Kim said she didn't want anyone to instruct her what she had to post on her Instagram account, not even brands she worked with. "I know some of the brands I work with might get frustrated. I will only post a picture of a brand I like if I really love it. And I also say that my Instagram is off limits in my business contracts." said the reality TV star, "I've actually unfollowed people who post too many brand-related Instagram pictures because I don't believe in it. I can smell it a mile off."

The 34-year-old reality TV star opened up that she managed her social media account herself. "I don't have a team doing it for me. I am not knocking anyone else that does that," she continued. "But I don't find it to be authentic, if you are talking about personal things and sharing personal photos."

Kanye West's wife also talked about her venture in gaming industry. "In the tech world most of the games are male driven so I feel excited that we bought a female fan base to the gaming world and the tech world," said the pregnant reality TV star. "It has been a new venture for me and scary for me to step into such a male dominated world."

Regarding how she entered the gaming industry, she admitted it was because of her husband's support. "Kanye really talked me into doing this partnership. He always wanted to do music for video games, so he thought it was the coolest thing in the world to have a video game with a character of myself," she told Mail Online. "And as long as I had some control over the look of the character, what the character would be wearing and saying and doing, it would be so much fun, and it proved to be so right." Kris Jenner's daughter continued, "I thank Kanye every day for making me do this deal."

Following her speech at the Cannes Lions Festival, the author of "Selfish" will speak to the Commonwealth Club, the nation's oldest and largest public affairs forum dedicated to impartial discussion of public issues, in Oakland on June 30. According to the forum's website, she will talk about "her new book 'Selfish', the Kardashian Jenner clan, the business of millennial culture, the objectification of women in media, and more." However, Kim's spokeswoman described the event as a book signing. Kim's appearance is sponsored by Glu Mobile, the game company which made her mega-hit game.
