Hilary Duff celebrated the release of her comeback album with a video of her performing its new song "Tattoo". The former Disney star dropped via her Vevo channel on Thursday, June 18 the clip featuring her delivering a stripped-down version of the track co-penned by Ed Sheeran in her backyard.

During the performance, Duff is only backed by a guitarist who sits next to her as she sings about a painful break-up. "It's a really heartfelt, honest song about getting burned and not feeling appreciated in a relationship, and the marks you get left with at the end," she said of the song to Vulture.

"I wanted to share a really stripped-down version of the song to give people an idea what the song is about," she added.

Duff's album "Breathe In. Breathe Out." was finally out earlier this week. It's her first full-length of new material since 2007's "Dignity".
