A new clip for "Terminator Genisys" has arrived online. Making its way out via Collider, the clip shows glimpses of thrilling action scenes which highlight Emilia Clarke and Arnold Schwarzenegger's characters.

The clip opens with Emilia, who stars as Sarah Connor, riding a bus and shouting to Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) to reach a gun. John Connor (Jason Clarke) who is hiding under the bus pulls something from the bus and makes the bus spin in the sky. It also shows Arnold driving a car in a wrong direction in the middle of the Golden Gate Bridge, seemingly chasing someone.

The clip makes it clear that John is the new villain in the upcoming movie. John twist from a protagonist into a villain leaves "Avatar" director, James Cameron, impressed. "The idea of taking John Connor and flipping him to the bad guy. It's pretty cool, because you got a rift against expectation. It's all about the twist," he explained.

In the upcoming film, Kyle is sent back to 1984 by John with a mission to save John's mother, Sarah, from a robot programmed to kill her, but what he finds on the other side is not what he expected. Everything has changed. The timeline when he was sent back to the past no longer exists, prompting a new mission and a new fate.

Alan Taylor ("Thor: The Dark World") serves behind the lens for this rebooted franchise while Dana Goldberg and David Ellison produce the movie. "Terminator Genisys" is slated for a release in the U.S. on July 1.
