The 'Full House' actor's car was stopped by police on Beverly Drive and South Santa Monica Boulevard after the Beverly Hills Police Department received several calls about a possible drunk driver.

John Stamos was arrested on Friday night, June 12 for allegedly driving under the influence, the Beverly Hills Police Department confirms. Police stopped the actor's car on Beverly Drive and South Santa Monica Boulevard after they received "numerous calls" about a possible drunk driver in the area.
The "Full House" alum was alone in his vehicle at the time. He was taken to a nearby hospital for a possible medical condition. After a further investigation, police concluded he was driving under the influence.
The Jesse Katsopolis depicter was arrested and given a citation for the DUI, but was released into the care of the hospital. He is scheduled to appear in court on September 11.
Stamos is going to reprise his role as Uncle Jesse on "Full House" revival on Netflix, "Fuller House". He will also executive produce the spin-off, which will center on the pregnant and recently widowed DJ Tanner (Candace Cameron) and her three kids, along with her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and neighbor Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber). Original stars Bob Saget, Lori Loughlin and Dave Coulier are confirmed to return.
