After learning of the Aussie raptress' last-minute cancellation, the 'Jealous' hitmaker contacted the forthcoming event's organizers himself and told them he wanted to come and perform.

The Pittsburgh Pride has found Iggy Azalea's replacement in Nick Jonas. After learning that the Australian raptress dropped out of the event earlier this week following criticism over homophobic tweets she posted in the past, the former Jonas Brothers member contacted the organizers and told them he'd love to fill in.
"Nick had heard about Pittsburgh Pride in the media and called us on Tuesday and said he would like to come and perform," said Gary Van Horn, president of Delta Foundation. "He has been a supporter of the LGBT community, and he wanted to make sure that the community and Pittsburgh had a Pride event that they could be proud of."
"When I heard about the difficult position Pittsburgh Pride was in just days before their event, I knew I had to find a way to help," said Jonas in a press release. "I'm excited to do what I can to support the LGBT community in Pittsburgh, and I look forward to seeing you this Saturday as we celebrate together."
Nick is performing at the Pittsburgh pride on June 13. Iggy announced she'd decided to cancel her scheduled appearance in a statement posted on Twitter on Monday, June 8. "I feel my participation at this point would only serve to further distract from the true purpose of the event," she explained before apologizing to anyone who got offended by her past remarks.
