Emily Deschanel has given birth to her second child, a baby boy, with her husband David Hornsby. A representative for Emily confirmed the happy news to Us Weekly on Monday, June 8. The rep said, "The whole family and baby are doing well."

Details of the baby boy remained unknown since the representative didn't mention any. Neither the "Bones" star nor her husband has made comment on their new bundle of joy. Emily and David's newborn baby joins big brother Henry Lamar Hornsby, 4.

Emily announced her second pregnancy back in December 2014, just weeks before her younger sister Zooey Deschanel revealed she's expecting her first child with her boyfriend Jacob Pechenik.

Emily told Us Weekly that lemonade was what she craved most during her second pregnancy. "I work with a nutritionist to make sure I have the protein that I need. It's so weird," the 38-year-old actress shared. "I just get thirsty. You have to drink more water and I can only drink so much water. I used to drink a ton of [fluids] and now I've hit my limit so I think of a variety. Once I get thirsty, I'll want lemonade or a sparkling water. Maybe it is citrus fruits!"

Emily and David got married in a small private ceremony in the Pasific Palisades area of Los Angeles in September 25, 2010.
