Iggy Azalea got engaged to her boyfriend Nick Young after nearly two years of dating. The Los Angeles Lakers player proposed the "Heavy Crown" raptress during his 30th birthday celebration on Monday night, June 1.
Stylist and "The Real" host Jeanni Mai revealed the happy news on Instagram. She posted a snap of the couple with some friends at the party with a caption that reads, "BEST NIGHT EVER for @thenewclassic & @swaggyp1. Congratulations- praying #HappilyEverAfter over you both ? #HeProposed!!!"
Another partygoer shared on her Twitter account a short video taken when Nick was proposing to Iggy. In the clip, the basketball player is seen kneeling in front of the hip-hop star while asking, "Would you marry me?" to which Iggy excitedly replies, "Yes."

The ring reportedly has a 8.15-carat Fancy Intense Yellow cushion cut center stone and 2.28 carats of white diamonds set onto 18-carat white gold.
Prior to the marriage proposal, Nick said that he wanted to marry Iggy in the near future. "Of course! Of course!" he said. "But I can't give you that surprise. You're gonna ruin that surprise."
He also revealed that he was preparing a surprise for Iggy's 25th birthday on June 7. "Her birthday is coming up. I'm planning trips and everything," he said. "It's going to be a big surprise. I can't tell you anything. You'll see next week. We're doing everything."
