As production continues on the new sequel of "The Da Vinci Code", "Inferno", director and producer Ron Howard took to Twitter to share some new behind-the-scenes images. The director teased fans with pictures from the director's monitor which shows the main character played by Tom Hanks.

Howard shared three photos, all of them were taken from the set of "Inferno". The pictures show Hanks as Robert Langdon, a Harvard symbologist, waking up in a hospital. The director describes the three images as "Hospital escape," "#RobertLangdon fleeing a threat" and "#RobertLangdon in pain."

Those images are presumably the scene where Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia before teaming up with Sienna Brooks (Felicity Jones), the doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories and prevent a madman from releasing a global plague connected to Dante's "Inferno".

Hanks and Howard have previously partnered for movie adaptations of Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code" and "Angels & Demons". Hanks and Jones lead the cast of the next installment which includes Ben Foster, Omar Sy, Irrfan Khan and Sidse Babett Knudsen.

The movie is based on the fourth installment in Brown's book series, skipping the actual third book "The Lost Symbol". Produced by Howard and Brian Grazer, the movie is slated for a release on October 14, 2016.
