"Suicide Squad" action scenes have left Will Smith with bruises and cuts on the face. The actor looked slightly beaten up as he left the set of the DC supervillain movie in Toronto, Canada, on Monday morning, May 25. He, however, was still smiling as he rolled down the window of his car and posed for pictures with fans.
Meanwhile, other set photos reveal mysterious creatures included in some scenes which also feature Smith's Deadshot and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn. It's not clear who they are, but from their appearances they look like some grossly mutated soldiers.
David Ayer is directing the movie with the script which he wrote alongside Justin Marks. The story centers on the team of supervillains who are given a chance at redemption by the government. The catch: Their mission will probably kill them all.
Other stars supporting the film include Jared Leto as the Joker, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller. The movie is due August 5, 2016 Stateside.
