The second "Now You See Me" movie hasn't arrived just yet but Lionsgate already plotted the third movie. "We've already begun early planning for 'Now You See Me 3'," CEO Jon Feltheimer said as quoted by Variety during a conference call with analysts to discuss the studio's quarterly earnings.
"Now You See Me: The Second Act" won't hit theaters in North America until June 10, 2016. Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, and Michael Caine are back reprising the roles. Morgan Freeman and Isla Fisher won't return to the sequel but Lizzy Caplan and Daniel Radcliffe are coming as new members.
The original movie directed by Louis Leterrier raked in over $350 million worldwide. Feltheimer is confident the sequel will match the success of the first one. Jon M. Chu takes over the directing seat for the second installment which has wrapped production.
