Sandra Bullock got emotional when talking about her Mother's Day this year. The actress told Ellen DeGeneres as she dropped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that she spent the special day crying a lot of "happy tears" due to her son Louis' sweet surprise.

"I cried a lot. It was all happy tears," Sandra told Ellen on Monday, May 18 about her Mother's Day with her son. "I just cry at anything now. I feel like, I mean I didn't have him that way, but I feel like hormonally."

"But everything he does [makes me cry]," she continued. "He sang me a song that he wrote. He said I wrote you a song, and I didn't have the heart to tell him he plagiarized. But it was you know, 'Bingo.' You know 'Bingo' the song."

When Ellen seemingly didn't have any idea about the classic children's tune, the "Minions" star sang her son's version of the popular song. "Well the song was about you know, there was a man who had a dog and bingo was his name-o. There was a mom I love so much and Sandy was her name-o," she explained.

She added, "I'm just like ahhhh. And then he played the harmonica in between and then he just kept looking at me." Ellen praised the kid, "He sounds like he has a great personality," to which Sandra replied, "Yeah he's all boy with a really tender heart."

The 50-year-old star also revealed that she recently took her 5-year-old son to Mardi Gras in his hometown of New Orleans. "You took him to Mardi Gras. What kind of mother are you?" Ellen jokingly asked. "I think a good one," Sandra responded. "I think if you're gonna learn, you're gonna learn."
