Josh Brolin has got engaged to his former assistant Kathryn Boyd, whom he's been dating since 2013. A representative for the actor has officially confirmed the couple's engagement. While neither Brolin nor his representative shared details of the engagement, a source close to Boyd told Us Weekly the couple got engaged sometime last month and had a celebration with a group of friends in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico few weeks later.
"They were with two tables worth of people so it was a big group, more than eight people," a source informed Us Weekly. "They had a fixed menu and it seemed like they were celebrating something... It looked like a party and it seemed celebratory."
Still according to the source, Brolin and Boyd were "all over each other," adding that "she was sitting on his lap" throughout the dinner. "They were kissing each other a lot, had their arms around each other," the source claimed, adding they were "Super affectionate all night."
Brolyn and Boyd began dating in March 2013, a month after he and former wife Diane Lane publicly confirmed that they were divorcing after eight years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized in November the same year. The Oscar-nominated actor was previously married to his first wife, Alice Adair, with whom he shares two kids, Trevor, 26, and Eden, 20.
