Things get ugly between Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson. Malik takes sides with Naughty Boy, whom he is working with for his upcoming solo debut, in the feud between the producer and Tomlinson. Malik, who left One Direction in March, takes a dig at his ex-bandmate when the latter is embroiled in a new Twitter spat with Naughty Boy.

"Remember when you were 12 and you used to think those Mac filters for your pictures were cool haha ! Some people still do HA!" Tomlinson tweeted. No name was given but Naughty Boy who just posted a photoshopped picture of his hanging out with Malik took offense. "@Louis_Tomlinsonand some people can't even sing...but who's complaining when there's auto tune eh," he retorted.

"@NaughtyBoyMusic Jesus forgot you were such an in demand producer...How does it feel to be riding on the back of someone else's career?" Tomlinson fired back. Surprisingly, he got a scolding from his former bandmate who replied, "@Louis_Tomlinson remember when you had a life and stopped making b*tchy comments about mine?"

"@Louis_Tomlinson Yeah how does it feel mate?" Naughty Boy chimed in. "You've been doing that for the last five years... I've got Emeli Sande and Sam Smith on my CV." Tomlinson only responded to the producer, "@NaughtyBoyMusic good for you, well done!! I think we've done alright in terms of sales and I've happened to write on most. Keep trying!"

The beef between Louis Tomlinson and Naughty Boy began in late March when the producer said he "saved 'Zaughty'." "Wow @NaughtyBoyMusic you're so inconsiderate pal, seriously how f***ing old are you? Grow up!" Tomlinson ranted, before explaining to his fan, "in reply to that stupid video he RT'd . Clearly trying to wind you lot up!!!"
