"Kingsman: The Secret Service" is apparently getting a follow-up. A source with knowledge of the project spills to TheWrap that the second installment to the adaptation of Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons' comic book is currently in the works at 20th Century Fox.

The original movie starring Taron Egerton as a young spy recruit and Colin Firth as his mentor raked in $400 million worldwide. It's unclear if Matthew Vaughn will return to direct the sequel, but he has shared some ideas on what the second movie might entail should it's given a go.

In a previous interview, the director said he would love to see a U.S. branch of the "Kingsman" spy agent. In another chat, he expressed his interest in bringing back Firth's character who was killed off in the first movie.

Vaughn currently has a lot on his plate. He is working on a "Flash Gordon" reboot, an Eddie "The Eage" Edwards biopic, and an adaptation of "The Golden Age" about superheroes in a retirement home.
