Cookie Monster and friends channel their inner superheroes in "Sesame Street" spoof of "The Avengers". These adorable muppets form a new band of superheroes consisting of Dr. Brownie, Onion Man, Captain Americauliflower, Black Bean Widow, Mighty Corn and Zuchin, when the villainous Bon Bon tries to destroy all healthy food on the planet.
Cookie Monster, however, keeps distracted by all things that look like food to him. After eating everything from Captain Americauliflower's shield to Mighty Corn's hammer, he turns into a giant a la the Hulk.
That's when Cookie Monster becomes a true hero as the green monster successfully takes down the evil Bon Bon and his minions.
The parody comes just in time for "Avengers: Age of Ultron" premiere on May 1 in the States. Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner return to reprise their roles as Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
