AceShowbiz - Lil Wayne's tour bus was shot on early Sunday, April 26 while in Atlanta. The gunshots happened while the rapper and some fellow Young Money artists like Hood and Lil Twist were reportedly on board, but no one was injured in the accident.
The driver reported that the shooting took place on interstate 285 near interstate 175 in Cobb County while Wayne and his entourage were leaving Compound nightclub following his performance there. Elizabeth Espy, spokeswoman for Atlanta police, said officers from her department were called to parking lot of Mandarin Oriental hotel at about 3:30 A.M. in regard to someone shooting at a bus that the rapper was on.
The officers said that the bus was shot multiple times. "Witnesses could only provide a limited description of the suspect vehicles," Espy explained. "They were described as two white vehicles, possibly a Corvette-style vehicle and an SUV." Espy further said following the shooting, the bus continued to make its way to the hotel. No arrests have been made and police are still looking for suspects.
Wayne has not commented on the incident yet. Following the shooting, Wayne wrote on Twitter saying that he would continue to perform on Sunday night in Louisville, Kentucky.

The shooting incident took place just 10 days after Wayne's former tour bus driver sued him for allegedly causing emotional distress. The driver accused the rapper of assaulting and threatening to kill him during Wayne's 2014 summer tour. The rapper was hit with multiple charges including false imprisonment, assault and emotional distress.
